    国外超大规模智算集群体系结构发展的10个趋势

    Ten Development Trends of Overseas Large-Scale Intelligent Computing Cluster Architecture

    • 摘要: 2012年以来,智能计算增长速度已超越摩尔定律,达到年增1个数量级,对计算机体系结构提出全新挑战。2026年国务院《政府工作报告》提出实施超大规模智算集群等新基建工程。综合考量人类智能“小算力、大网络”特征,光传输交换具备更低功耗等使能技术,技术创新带来新体系新机制等,我们从集群的体系结构、计算结点、网络技术和技术生态4个方面,对国外超大规模智算集群发展趋势作出10点初步判断,供读者参考。

       

      Abstract: Since 2012, the growth rate of intelligent computing has outpaced Moore’s Law, achieving an order-of-magnitude increase per year, which poses unprecedented challenges to the architecture of computer. Ultra-large-scale intelligent computing clusters have been proposed as national new infrastructure by State Council Government of China in 2026. Considering the characteristics of human intelligence, i.e “small computing power, large network”, the enabling technologies of optical transmission and switching with lower power consumption, and new architectures and mechanisms driven by technological innovation, we present ten preliminary judgments on overseas intelligent computing clusters development trends from four aspects: cluster architecture, computing nodes, network technology, and technical ecosystem. This paper aims to offer insights and contribute to the national implementation of ultra-large-scale intelligent computing clusters as new infrastructure.
