    基于分布式共享存储系统的并行文件子系统DPFS

    DPFS: A DSM-BASED PARALLEL FILE SYSTEM

    • 摘要: 为了改进软件 DSM系统中对文件的存取性能以获得更好的应用程序性能 ,基于软件 DSM系统 JIAJIA的并行文件子系统 DPFS被开发出来 .DPFS系统采用文件映射接口作为应用编程接口 ,使得文件存取界面简单 ,并且能充分利用软件 DSM系统的大量特性 ,系统设计相对简单 .在曙光 2 0 0 0并行机上进行的应用测试表明 ,采用DPFS文件子系统后 ,应用程序的整体性能有了很大提高

       

      Abstract: To improve the performance of file accesses for the applications in DSM system, a parallel file subsystem named DPFS has been developed for JIAJIA DSM system. DPFS adopts file mapping interface as its API, which is simpler than read/write interface. With file mapping interface, some features of the DSM system have been utilized to make the implementation of DPFS easier and the performance higher. Experimental results on Dawning 2000 parallel machine demonstrate that DPFS can improve the performance of file accesses and reduce the total execution time of applications.
