    基于水平集的3D动画

    3D ANIMATION BASED ON LEVEL SETS

    • 摘要: 将水平集方法引入 3D动画中 ,提出了一种新的动画方法 .用一形变模型表示物体的表面 ,由模型的变形来实现动画 ,为了使模型能自适应改变其拓扑结构 ,将模型的进化问题转化为函数的水平集进化问题 .同时采用了一种新颖的速度延伸方法来实现水平集进化以提高建模精度 ;为了加快建模的速度 ,结合狭窄区域技术和多分辨率方法 ,提出了基于水平集方法的 3D动画快速算法 .实验结果表明该方法能用于复杂拓扑结构的物体动画

       

      Abstract: A new method for animation is proposed in this paper, which integrates level set models into 3D animation . Deformable models are used for designing and animating complex objects, the level set method is introduced to vary the topology of the models. At the same time, an novel method for extending speed is developed to accurately modeling. In order to improve the speed of modeling, a fast algorithm is proposed by integrating a narrow band method and the mul scale algorithm. The experimental results are also included to show the potential of the newly presented method for animating objects with complicated shape and topologies.
