Abstract: A new method for the detection of moving targets in complex scenes is proposed in the paper. It has four outstanding features: ① the background can be arbitrarily complicated;② the camera between frames is allowed to move;③ the area of the target can not influence the effect of the method ; and ④ the flow between frames is allowed to be much bigger. Experimental results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and practicality of the method.
