Abstract: A project funded by the National Construction Ministry of China has resulted in a unique decision support system named IPEAS for the economical appraisal of investment projects.This paper presents the development strategy,design,and implementation of IPEAS,and discusses how to use it to support decision making.The benefits of IPEAS compared with that of many existing systems are also shown.
