Abstract: This paper gives the analysis of the inference units (IU for abbr) execution process and the approaches to ts implementation. The inference units are important constituents of the KLND-ENGINE which is theexecution part in he parallel inference system NDPIS. They make it possible, by inter-pretation, to execute base-instructions on onventional machines. They also support theKLND-level debugging.
