Abstract: In order to improve the performance of the simplified evidence theory model URM1 from several aspects, distance functions between basic support functions （which are analogous to Mass functions in evidence theory） are given, combination conditions between basic support functions are further discussed, and based on the strategy of lining up to the highest authority, A method of combining basic support functions with authority factor is given. A method of making decision about interval conclusions in evidence theory is put forward. On the one hand, this method has more generality compared with that of URM1; on the other hand it accords more with the intuition of mankind. In addition, it has due significance for research on cooperation among multi heterogeneous expert systems.
