Abstract: Application\|sharing system is one kind of CSCW system utilities, which can make collaborative use of single user applications in a multi\|user network environment. In an application sharing system, convenient and direct ways for interaction are required. First presented in the paper here is an application\|sharing model, and key techniques in the system such as shared\|area management and floor\|control policy etc.. And then the agent\|based system software architecture is discussed, including the concept of application sharing manager and application collaboration agent etc.. A simplified HRTF model is applied to construct a virtual audio conference environment in the system. Finally, implementation of the application sharing system in the virtual audio conferencing environment is also illustrated. Through virtual audio conference, users in the application sharing system are able to interact conveniently.
