Abstract: On the basis of wide study of existing UIMS and UIDS systems, the authors have designed and implemented a user interface development system called AutoDD （Automatic Dialogue Developel） based on MS-Windows. This paper discusses the approaches of user interface description and dialogue independence in AutoDD. It also provides the overall structure and implementation techniques of AutoDD.
