Abstract: This paper introduces the research work on massively parallel processing systems, and points out that the current research hotspot and key technology are how to implement the highly efficient interconnection communication. We survey the research contents in this field, which comprise node architecture, network interface, switching technology, topology structure, routing algorithm, communication mechanism, transmitting protocol, computation model, etc..
