Abstract: With the increasing explosively of data in network, more and more people pay attention to SAN, currently the main internetworking technology is Fibre Channel, but it’s interoperability problems, lack of available skills and high implementation costs remain major obstacles to its popularity To overcome the shortcoming of thus, some other network protocols have been researched By comparing intensive the difference between the Fibre Channel and iSCSI, we conclude r iSCSI is suitable to implement the SAN, at last, this paper supply a solution of iSCSI based SAN and designed experiments to confirm this conclusion
