Abstract: The theory representation method of knowlegde is a kind of effective knowledge repre-sentation method used in concept acquisition system based on attribute descriptions , which has its features of hierarchy, abstraction,modularity and integration. In this paper, the definition of the theory representation method and its description language is described. An application of the method is also given.
