Abstract: The current machine translation systems pay little attention to their environment,which results in many problems.A simple environment system called IMTENV is proposed and built,which is based on the intelligent machine translation system IMT/EC 863.In IMTENV,subject,predicate,object and so on are extracted from the sentences in order to deal with some language phenomena such as divergence,ellipsis and so on.
