    基于图象与图形综合的光线跟踪技术

    HYBRID GRAPHICS BASED AND IMAGE BASED RAY TRACING

    • 摘要: 根据光线跟踪的基本思想和光学原理,文中提出了“虚视点”的概念;提出了一个用于建筑物及其周围场景真实感图形生成的基于图象与图形综合的光线跟踪新算法.垂直图象的水平截面轮廓可以自动地提取出来.采用综合处理图形和图象的光线跟踪技术,对建筑物及其场景中插入的景物图象(如树木、人物等)可以根据光源、视点的位置,生成合理的阴影和倒影,并能够模拟地面水洼的局部反射效果.由于引入了虚视点及位置纹理映射的方法,景物图象在造型表面上的倒影及景物图象上被其它物体遮挡的阴影效果更加逼真.实践表明,基于图象与图形综合的光线跟踪技术通常能够满足建筑CAD及其真实感图形的要求.

       

      Abstract: In this paper, a new concept, or virtual view point, is defined, and a new method for ray tracing buildings and environmental images is proposed, which can be used to generate realistic image including reflections and shadows of both buildings and environmental objects (e.g.trees, people, etc.). Horizontal profiles and depth information of environmental images can be automatically extracted. The reflections and the shadows of environmental images can be achieved much realistically by means of the virtual view point. The new method can also simulate the reflections of buildings in puddles. It is shown that the image based and graphics based ray tracing techniques can generally meet requirements of architectural CAD and its realistic image generation.
