Abstract: A server provides share, print and mail services to IBM-PCs workstations connected to it by using an Ethernet in a network system of 3 com Ether Series. It facilitates sharing of disks, data and printers among IBM-PCs and support of an electronic mail system, tn this paper, we discuss the vorkstation-server model and the design and implementation of the servers.
