Abstract: In this paper, an integrated model of software tools in software engineering environment is discussed and the concept of external integration and internal integration is described. The integrated model based on Object Management System is given. In the integrated model, external integration and internal integration are combined together. The application of the integrated model in a particular system called "Software Design Support Environment (SDSE)" is also introduced
