Abstract: When using a proxy, it would be terrible for the proxy to always exclude you out of the door. This is the fact for many kinds of proxies such as SOCKS server lacking the control of links. In this paper, the authors propose a mathematical model to select links that should be closed. Another model is constructed to calculate the number of processes for responding user requests in time. To save the CPU resource, a probability method is given to close those dying links.
