Abstract: We have researched and implemented an agent oriented logic programming systemGKD-AOLPS based on our object oriented logic programming system. This paper introduces the architecture and mechanisms of an agent, and then gives an agent meta-level structure. Based on the speech act theory, the pragmatic natures of agent communicative primitives provided by GKD-AOLPS are studied.
