Abstract: This paper attempts to explore a test method for evaluating the processing of magnetie paints, by measuring ther parameters of viscosity, squareness, resistance, function of foam killers in the compound solution, etc. The experimental results show that measuring viscosity and squareness of magnetic paints is a useful method for selecting formulations and processing parameters The test of function of foam killers in the compound solution can forecast possibilities of emerging defccts (pinhole etc.) in magnetic coatings to a degree, and therefore it can also act as one of the methods for selecting foam killers.
