Abstract: This paper discusses the basic concepts of distributed artificial intelligence, suggests a conceptual framework of distributed artificial intelligence and uses it to analyze several typical distributed artificial intelligence systems in the world, and reviews the formalization theories of multi-agen interaction, such as formalism of action and belief, conflicting agents, plan synchronization, and theorie of communicating distributed processes.
