基于类流水线结构FDDI适配器的设计与实现

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF FDDI ADAPTER BASED ON SIMILAR PIPELINE ARCHITECTURE

摘要: ＦＤＤＩ网络是目前流行的高速计算机局域网络，ＦＤＤＩ适配器是ＦＤＤＩ网络最重要的基本设备．本文提出了基于类流水线结构的设计思想，成功地解决了高速网络与主机总线之间的速度匹配问题，同时给出了硬件积木式结构和软件模块化设计的方法，为ＦＤＤＩ适配器及其它网络设备的设计和实现提供了灵活性．

Abstract: FDDI adapter is the most important basic component of FDDI computer network. This paper presents the hardware/software design idea and implementation method of the FDDI adapter. The similar pipeline architecture of the hardware system is discussed. The hardware logical block diagram and the software module are also given.
