Abstract: The cognition of computer science and technology is very inportant for studying computer science, and predicting the developing directions of computer science in future. In this paper, the development mainlines, characteristics and internal inherent law are reviewed and summarized, and the cognitive process for computer science and technology is explained from the perspective of scientific philosophy. A series of new concepts and idea, for example, the essential problem, typical method and typical instance, mathematicalization for mode of thinking, core courses for graduates, and intensive model for studying computer science are proposed and discussed. The research progress of methodology for computer science and technology is outlined, and its influence on the research and education of computer and technology is discussed.
