Abstract: This paper analyzes the design and implementation of a real time expert system for converter blowing control ——RESC. It is implemented by combining knowledge based techniques with real time task management technology and blowing control model.The paper is concerned with the system architecture, knowledge representation, inference mechanism, blowing control models, real time control mechanism,and the network communication.
