Abstract: This paper introduces an Intelligent PASCAL Tutoring System:IPTS. which has been developed on a mini-computer system MV/8000 and can be used to instruct students to learn PASCAL language independently.In the paper,we present the design ideas and basic functions of IPTS,discuss the technique problems in the process of development,and propose our viewpoints about ICAI.
