Abstract: Model decomposition is an effective way to reduce system complexities and cut down simulation costs.Many qualitative theories can hardly deal with large scale systems because of high costs.To solve this problem,a method of model decomposition is given for structure models in the form of directed graph of causality that is common in qualitative theories.An example is also given and the method is compared with other similar methods.
