Abstract: Abstract:Integration,hardware accelerators and intelligence are several present trends towards the next generation CAD system.An integrated electronic CAD system have preliminarily been developed by the CAD Laboratory of the Institute of Computing Technology,Academia Sinica.It is composed of graphic entry,logic simulation,place- ment,routing and automatic generation of manufacture data files of all kinds.These application software are linked to one total system by CAD data base.This paper desc- ribes the system functions,structure diagram,features and application results.
