Abstract: As we know, the application computer systems designed by particular research groups have so many hardware design differences that it is difficult to find suitable development software tools and application programs. An I860XR assembler and an I860XR linker developed by the authors based on a real application system are presented in this paper. These softwares are running on PC computers and have been working well.
