Abstract: The research on object oriented expert systems has received a lot of attention in recent years. This paper proposes a new architecture of an object oriented production system. We present the rule knowledge representation model and fuzzy matching principle,with an introduction of the concept of rule objects. A concurrence control algorithm for rule objects and the explanation strategy are also given.
