Abstract: To uniformly, normally, and effectively manage versatile resources has become one of the key issues of the next-generation Web. The knowledge grid is based on the next-generation Web and aims at providing the new model, approach, and platform for effectively sharing and managing versatile Web resources including information, knowledge, and services. Its major characteristics are normal organization, intelligent clustering, and semantic interconnection. The research progress of China Knowledge Grid VEGA-KG and the related models and methods are introduced.
