Abstract: In this paper,the approach to solve the problem of Chinese character processing and data acquisition under UNIX environment and system targets are presented.The main technical key-problems are analysed and some implementation methods are also presented.The software system(UE-CIPS 1.00)has been implemented and running normally on some computer systems,such as DUAL83 series,CTW-3300 series and AT&T's 3B series,and can be easily transfered to other computer systems with UNIX software environment.
