摘要: 本文详细分析了ORACLE 关系数据库管理系统如何管理外存空间。ORACLE 存储管理的特点之一是所有外存空间由ORACLE 统一管理。本文在剖析ORACLE 存储结构的基础上,揭示了ORACLE 如何存储和管理用户数据(如:表,索引,聚簇,视图等)和系统数据(如:数据字典表等)。最后给出对ORACLE 外存管理所用方法的评价。Abstract: This paper analyzes how ORACLE RDBMS manages storage.One of its character- istics is to manage all external storage space under it.Based on dissecting the storage organization of ORACLE,this paper shows how ORACLE stores and manages the data of users (i.e.tables,indexes clusters,and views)and the data of system (i.e.data dictionary tables).Finally,this paper gives the evaluation of storage management of ORACLE RDBMS.
