工作站网络环境中并行体绘制技术研究与实现
RESEARCH AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PARALLEL VOLUME RENDERING ON A NETWORK OF WORKSTATIONS

摘要: 文中结合Splating体绘制方法,针对工作站机群并行环境的特点,提出了一种新的分布处理模型:Host-Node-Render模型;针对体数据和绘制算法的特性,文中提出了任务池组/图象组的动态负载平衡策略.理论分析和实验结果表明:采用文中提出的分布处理模型和负载平衡策略,能较好地提高体绘制的并行效率.Abstract: Based on the Splatting method, a new distributed computing paradigm——Host Node Render model for the network of workstations is presented. According to the features of volume data and the Splatting method, a new dynamic load balance strategy——group of taskpools/group of images is proposed. The results of theoretical analysis and numerical testing show that the distributed computing paradigm and load balance strategy presented can improve parallel efficiency effectively.
