A Management Information System Based on Distributed Database

摘要: 本文针对重庆大学网络管理信息系统(CUNMIS)的开发与数据库设计的实际,重点论述了分布式数据库如何应用于一个管理信息系统(MIS)中的有关问题,特别是分布式环境、连接方式、系统结构和数据分布策略等方面的问题,作为对如何使分布式数据库走向实用化的一种探讨。

Abstract: In this paper,we discuss som-e problems about the database design and implementationof the CUNMIS (Chongqing University Network Management Information System),which is based onthe CUNET (Chongqing University NE Twork) and ORACLE 5.1,a distributed database managementsystem.Specially,we discuss problems about the distributed database environment,interconnection man-ner,DDB architecture,data distribution strategies and how to use a DDB to a MIS.
