Abstract: With the development of web services based distributed computing environment, software collaboration is becoming one of the most important problems In this paper, a role based software collaboration environment is presented and implemented on the basis of role based group collaboration mechanism and role based collaboration modeling method This system’s function goals, operational principle, system architecture and key mechanism are discussed in detail Finally, its application in E commerce systems, and some related questions in the future research are also discussed
