摘要: 指纹细节点提取是自动指纹识别研究的关键问题之一 ,尽管已有很多基于细化图像分析的方法和基于原始灰度图像分析的方法 ,但该问题还没有得到很好的解决 因此提出了一种从二值图像上提取细节点的方法 首先通过行程匹配得到二值指纹图像中的图段 ,然后根据图段的结构形式和图段之间的连接关系进行细节点的判定 ,细节点的方向通过直线试探法获得 实验结果表明 :与基于细化图像的方法相比不仅具有较高的效率 ,而且能使指纹匹配达到较高的精度Abstract: Minutiae extraction is a critical problem in the research of automatic fingerprint recognition Though there are many methods based on the analysis of a skeleton image or original gray image, the problem has not been solved perfectly In this paper, a method is presented which extracts minutiae from the binary image Image segments are first extracted from the binary image by run length code matching Then the minutiae are detected through the analysis of the segments’ structure and their inter relations The direction of minutiae is determined by the line testing method Experimental results show that compared with the method based on the skeleton image, the proposed method is more efficient and can improve the accuracy of fingerprint matching
