Abstract: This paper first discusses the concept of direct transfer and indirect transfer which exists in the process of analogical reasoning. Then the reasoning process of a model of analogical reasoning based on commonality abstraction is given. Three kinds of empty transfer between base and target are also discussed. Finally, the algorithms for creating a problem schema and a solution schema are proposed.
