Abstract: As a key problem in the development of MIS, the data-sharing among different databasesis based on the implementation of data conversion.In this paper, a design for the data conversion between SOL database and DBASEIII database ispresented. The data extraction, data organizing, and the data transmission can be thus realized. As aresult, the data, stored in different databases, can easily be converted to each other and shared byusers who work under minicomputer and microcomputer environment separately.
