Abstract:
Based on the CSP theory,this paper first describes a distributed parallel processing model composed of concurrent processes with hierarchy structure communicating by named channels. Then,it analyses in detail some structure features of OCCAM and transputer used to support and realize the parallel model.Furthermore,it exposes some general architecture features and introduces briefiy several prototypes of multitransputer systems(MTS).Finally,the possible further improvements and developments of the architecture for MTS are also addressed.
