Abstract: FDDI （Fiber Distributed Data Interface） is a kind of widely used high speed computer local networks. This paper presents the architecture, design,and implementation issues of the Sunrays microcomputer FDDI fiber computer network system made by the authors,with emphasis on the network adapter, bridge, concentrator and adapter driver.
