Abstract: This paper presents a primary cell image analysis system.The final goal is to construct a system which can successfully help cytopathologist to accurately discover cancer cell.Its price and performance are acceptable. Comparing several image analysis methods,we chose the mathematical morphology as the basis of our system.This method gives us good prospects for raising the performance and reducing the production cost of the system.
