Abstract: Optical disk has been used as a large capacity storage of computer.This paper describes several ways about how to read out from the optical disk.These methods have been used in the optical disk driver made by Shanghai Institute of Laser Technology.Emphasis is put on high precision servo techniques employed in optical disk driver,including the optical methods of error detection,the actuators in the close loop servo method,and the control systems.
