Abstract: The natural form query language (NFOL) system is a general form-transformation system which provides two major functions form verification to verify whether a form can be correctly used to perform database access, and form transformation to translate forms into relational algebra expressions to interface with the database. The functions and their implementation algorithms are described. Examples are also given.
