    第五代计算机的可靠性设计

    The Reliability Design for the Fifth Ceneration Computer

    • 摘要: 性能、价格和可靠性是评价一个系统的三大要素.对第五代计算机的性能研究与分析已有多篇文章进行了探讨.本文着重讨论第五代计算机的可靠性设计.分析由超大规模集成电路构成的第五代计算机中的可靠性与集成度间的尖锐矛盾.提出解决这种矛盾的方法.阐明第五代计算机必将是一个高可靠的容错计算系统.最后,简介我校在这方面的一些研究结果.

       

      Abstract: Performance,cost and reliability are three important parameters for a system.Performance and cost of the Fifth Generation Computer (FGC) are widely studied in many papers.This paper stresses on the reliability design of the FGC.The conflict in the reliability with the complexity of FGC system constructed by VLSI circuits is discussed; and some solutions to the conflict are proposed.The conclusion is that the FGC must be a highly reliable fault-tolerant system.At last,a brief introduction is given about the relative work in our university.
