Abstract: Discussed in this paper is web-based architecture of the next generation of distributed object, with emphasis on how to integrate global database technology, global transaction control technology, mainstream database component technology and CORBA technology. Also studied are the aspects on CORBA mechanism sustaining heterogeneous and distributed system, global database schema, the definition of global query language, syntax and semantic analysis, query optimization, the objective expression of mainstream databases, transaction management, concurrent control, security management, the integrity of global transaction, integrated tools of mainstream databases, and the management and maintenance strategy of multidatabase systems, and finally realized are objectives based on the study.
