Abstract: The management process control system （MPCS） presented in this paper applies the ideology of workflow to the lower management supporting layer. It uses the mechanism that is oriented to information frame to define, coordinate, supervise and control the management process. Because the system is designed not to orient directly to application development, it frees the development environment of applications, and gets rid of the constraints of process definition model for complicated, dynamic processes in traditional workflow management systems. Owing to its important characteristics on run time synchronous coordination, information inheritance, its ability to support dynamic process control based on process instances, and its independency to the application systems, the MPCS has good adaptability, availability, scalability, and is capable of accommodating to dynamic applications. It can be a main component of enterprise information infrastructure, and then support the application of the ideology of workflow in complex process management environment.
