Abstract: SEG/SUN is a syntax-directed editor generator builded on SUN/3, workstation. It is composed of three parts: a meta language, a parser, and a syntax-directed editor. It is for a variety of languages and with some user-friendly features, this paper outlines the SEG system, and discusses the implementation techniques with the Unix operating system.
