Abstract: The task distributing algorithm of current PVM is very simple, so it greatly affects the parallel performance of the system. This paper proposes an algorithm to achieve the SPMD model task distribution balancing of PVM based on the implementation of a UNIX load information collecting system——ULICS, Finally, the experimental result and the advantage of the design are given.
