Abstract: in this paper, the relation between the μ-FNN and automata, and also an algorithm of analyzing and synthesizing the μ-FNN by automata are discussed. The stateset of the μ-FNN and the production chain of the regular fuzzy grammar are portrayed.The formalization of the algorithm is given, which can make the analysis and synthesisof the μ-FNN implemented automatically by a computer.
