Abstract: This paper discusses the fuzzy relational data model (FRDM) on which the fuzzy rela-tional database management systems (FRDBMS) is based,the design of DDL and DML,and the im-plementation of FRDBMS In FRDBMS,fuzzy sets and fuzzy relations ean be defined by DDL langu-age and can be used in database or in DML programs,thus providing an effective method to representand deal with the fuzzy knowledge
