    高性能协同工作支撑环境设计与实现

    THE MODEL AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A HIGH PERFORMANCE CSCW SUPPORTING ENVIRONMENT

    • 摘要: 允许多个协作同时运行是用户和应用对 CSCW支撑环境的基本要求 ,但这一要求使支撑环境的管理和控制变得十分复杂 .另外 ,多数 CSCW支撑环境中未能较好地支持带实时多媒体组通信的同步交互功能 .介绍了基于ATM网络和工作站实验平台的 CSCW支撑环境原型系统 ATM- CSCWEnv的设计和实现 .该支撑环境将管理与控制功能分开 ,并采用 OSI的 Manager/ Agent模式管理支撑环境中协作和资源 .环境中还引入多媒体多点传输、资源管理、连接控制等功能模块以支持带 Qo S保证的多媒体组通信

       

      Abstract: Complicated control and management functionality is required in a CSCW supporting environment which supports multiple collaborations running simultaneously. Synchronous interaction with multimedia real time group communications is another key issue in the high performance CSCW supporting environments. This paper presents a new model of CSCW supporting environment. The model separates the management and control aspects of collaborations and resources, and uses the OSI manager/agent model to enhance the management functionality. In addition, multi party multimedia communications related issues such as call/connection control, multimedia real time transmission, and resource management are considered in the model. Also described are the design and implementation of a CSCW supporting environment prototype system in ATM network and Unix operating system platform.
